At the October membership meeting, the speaker, Jack Berryman, had to cut his presentation to 20 minutes. He had prepared an hour's presentation. Speakers go to a great deal of time and effort to prepare a presentation as well as attend the meeting to give it. Sometimes they come long distances. I came to this meeting specifically to hear Jack's presentation so I was disappointed that he had to cut it short. Prior to the speaker's presentation, a good amount of time was spent on fishing reports. I do not come to the meetings for the fishing report but I understand that many members find fishing reports important. I would like to suggest that the speaker's presentation be moved to early in the meeting rather than at the end. They should always be given the full amount of time for their presentation. This would also spare them the time they have to sit through our business meeting agenda and fishing reports.
