The Miller Creek Trail (map) in Burien provides valuable fish and wildlife habitat. The creek supports spawning Coho each fall. Join your friends and neighbors for a few hours Saturday, March 2nd, to help maintain and improve the stream-side habitat.
What: We will spread mulch around recently planted native trees and shrubs to help inhibit weed growth, retain soil moisture, moderate soil temperatures, and reduce erosion. Mulch application will help ensure tree and shrub survival to benefit the creek and the salmon that inhabit the Miller Walker Basin.
