Join the volunteers and come out to the Duwamish Hill Preserve to restore this very  special area adjacent to Green-Duwamish. At the Duwamish Hill Preserve we will be continuing restoration efforts by planting native species and spreading mulch to help plants flourish in their new home. This is a great way to give back to your community, and also is an awesome opportunity to meet some new faces, to get your hands dirty, and to get outside and connect with the Green-Duwamish River.

Where to Park: There's a small parking lot on site and street parking available on 115th Street.

What to bring: Please dress for the weather because we will be working rain or shine. Boots or comfortable athletic shoes, work clothes, appropriate layers for rain and sun. Volunteers should also bring a refillable water bottle. Snacks and coffee will be provided.

Restoration training, tools and gloves will also be provided. No experience necessary, so make sure to bring along your friends, family, and neighbors.

Youth volunteers: If you are under 18 and attending the event without a parent or guardian, please come to the event with a Youth Waiver signed by a parent or guardian. Youth Waiver for Forterra Restoration Events can be found here.
